Hello. I am doing some digging on the Asheville area, since we just visited and are now preparing to move to the area. We "unschool" currently in Louisiana. Our son, Derek, is 12, and is thrilled we are moving to the mountains. Our daughters are very young and I am hoping to meet others in the area for outings. Indigo is 2 1/2 and Cypress is 15 mo's. We have a baby on the way. I just recently started a "Waldord Toddler Enrichment" day that spun off from other local families who are hosting the same style of event in our Louisiana neighborhood. If you can spare a moment to let me know about the area you live in, is it close to Asheville? Are there areas around Asheville that are more supportive of homeschooling/unschooling, that are all-inclusive and non-religious oriented? My husband and I would be happy living remotely near the mountains, but we want to live somewhere so the children have playmates. We also don't belong to a religion and want to make sure we move somewhere that is accepting of everyone. Any information you can share is appreciated.

Is Kaia sleeping now? So is Daniel! I can't believe it. Maria, I am so happy that you got me back into this blogging deal. You know I used to be a web worker in the olden days. Here is my old website: www.aumcommunications.com Try not to make fun. I said it was the OLDEN days! :-)

Anyhow, I hope that y'all decide to try the morning garden. I am really looking forward to it. I'd love to chat more with you about Waldorf, especially as I read more and more about it.
