Oh my, what fun to create your own house! How many square feet will it be? And on or off the grid? Thanks for sharing your pictures.
This little house is only 384 square feet, and will be off the grid (as in, water from the stream and light from a candle
We will probably live in that for ~1 year while we plan and build the ‘main’ house. It will be ~1200 square feet with solar power, water from the well, and passive solar and wood heat. We are probably going to post and beam that one with straw bale and cord wood infill. We’ll see…. 
I haven’t been able to check-in in a while…I can’t beleive how much you’ve got done! How exciting! I love the house- so cool! I’m very envious!
And all the plants/herbs you’ve discovered on the property- that is truelly amazing.
