Last week, Buttercup hatched 7 of her eggs. Two died within hours, but the other 5 are doing great!
So that makes 9 new chicks altogether! Yay! I hope they are all hens

Gosh, little chicks are so cute! It makes me start thinking about maybe having one of our hens hatch a few! I’m a totally novice chicken owner so I don’t even know if this is a good time of year, and how to go about getting her a ahem… donor? Or caller? Not sure how chickens go about their romantic life
But we do need more than 3 hens, as there are 7 almost 8 of us in the house and we all love our farm fresh eggs! Wish you were closer, I’d come over and observe your chicken raising prowess!
