Just a quick note

Hey there! Lots has been going on, as usual, but I haven’t had any length of time to sit infront of the computer and write about it….

I did go to a mead making class this past week and it was great!!! Right now I have a gallon of Lemon Balm, Peppermint, Yarrow, Sumac Mead brewing. I plan on hitting the Brew supply store tomorrow to get more supplies!! It is really fun. Any Mead makers out there???

Also, check this out! It’s my new logo and beginning of my new website for my consulation business. Cool eh??? I designed it after my tattoo

  1. the logo rocks! i’m so excited for you!

i’m a beginner mead maker too. i’ve just bought a few supplies and need to get a few more and then i’ll be on my way. hopefully this weekend or next week early, i will get some brewing myself. i plan on making some fruit meads…blackberry, peach, elderberry, however, yours sounds scrumptious too. perhaps we could swap a bottle when they are done?!

  2. The only mead I’ve had is honey, but my son has made a couple of different kinds. Yours sounds yummy. Maybe you can share the recipe. I know nothing about making it.

  3. I love the logo and the business name! Very cool!

I haven’t made mead, but I’ve drunk alot of it!! I’ll be happy to try yours and give you any feedback! 🙂

  4. Hi there

  5. Oh, will you share the sumac mead recipe? We have an abundance of staghorn sumac out here! Have already made “lemonade”, but mead sounds fun.

  6. There was no real recipe for the mead. I just added the sumac (a couple of handfuls) to the water portion of the mead and boiled it for ~20 minutes. Then I added the honey and, after it cooled off a little, I added the yeast. I don’t remember all the portions, but I will look those up.
