Weekend accomplishments

Accomplishments this weekend:
Saturday – diddly-squat!
Sunday – Planted 7 mums, 3 echinacea, 2 horehound, 2 rosemary, 2 catnip, 2 st. john’s wort, 1 bay laurel, 1 mugwart, 1 stevia, 1 ginkgo, repotted some aloe, started setting up my cold-frame for fall plantings, mowed the lawn, took out the recycling, cleaned the house A/C filter, and blogged. I’m tired! I’m going to bed!

  1. Wow – bust, busy! Can you use the bay laurel leaves to cook with? We’re busy pondering how to dig up and store our plants for the move while we still know where they are! Hugs!

  2. Yes, the bay laurel leaves can be used fresh or dried to cook with. Good luck with moving the plants. Hopefully things will go smoothly with the closing and you can get those plants in with more than enough time to establish some roots before winter.

  3. Thanks for your comments on my blog — I appreciate knowing what the “pretty pink plant” is! Our daughters must be about the same age — ours girl just started walking seriously in the last month or so. I’ve enjoyed exploring your site. 🙂
