This past Sunday was my birthday and it was fantastic!!!
Woke up to breakfast in bed, then laid in bed and relaxed/read until 11am.
Went down stairs and had chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream with cherries on top for lunch.
Went to the Spa and had a hot stone massage and facial.
Went out to dinner at the French Broad Chocolate Lounge (truffles and gourmet brownies)
Followed by Salad for dessert 🙂
Got taken out to Hot Springs for a dip in the mineral springs.
Drove home and slept like a baby!
And guess what Toby got me for my birthday?
Knocked up! 🙂
Kaia is very happy she is finally going to be a big sister!
I’m feeling fine so far, but I’m only a month pregnant! So, now we need something to call this little bit for the next 8 months, until it comes out and has a name….
CONTEST!! Woohoo!
Kaia thinks we should call the baby “Flower”, or “Daisy”… I suggested “The Mooch” (“9 month parasite” just sounds too harsh:-)) … Since it’s out second child, Toby likes “#2” or “Deuce” (I think they both sound a bit fecal :-))
What do you think? What shall we call our Embryo?
Hi Maria….i emailed with you a month or so ago about purchasing bulk herbs. I live in CHapel Hill and have just found your blog recently. Congrats! We also are pregnant with our second, due in May, and we tend to call the unborn babe “Perry” instead of parasite 🙂

Trying for one of those critters myself…no clue on what to call it…I’m guessing “small energy-sucking urchin” doesn’t exactly improve on 9-month parasite…plus it’s a little long ::grin:: Tho’ I like Kaia’s suggestion of Flower, because it reminds me of the shy little skunk from Bambi 🙂

AHHHHHHH!!!!!! HOW EXCITING!!! When I saw the picture I was screaming for joy and Coal just looked at me like I was nuts….I can’t wait to tell Matty!!! He’s gonna do back flips for y’all! The house is amazing too! We’ve been peeking in on y’alls progress for awhile now and it’s so exciting!!! New Baby!!! Holy Shamoly! My friend’s baby’s name was bingo, even weeks after he was born. Have to say I kinda like it, deuce is pretty good too….Love to all y’all! And please give my love to Doris too! Trish
